About The College Pathways Scholarship

This fund provides recognition and financial support to graduating juniors and seniors currently attending Riverside County high schools who want to pursue a career in any healthcare profession within Southern California.

Scholarships can only be awarded a maximum of once per applicant. Funds can be used for college application fees, supplies, or costs related to the study of their chosen field.

Requirements

  • Must be a resident of Riverside County and be enrolled in a Riverside County High School
  • Must be enrolled in or currently applying for admittance to a Southern California healthcare degree program
  • Must submit two (2) 500 minimum word essays
  • Must submit two (2) recommendation forms
  • Must have a weighted Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher
  • Must submit current unofficial transcripts

Media Consent Questions I, the undersigned, hereby consent to the use by The Riverside Medical Clinic Charitable Foundation (RMCCF), and those acting with permission and authority of RMCCF, of all photographs, videotape, or other images or recordings that RMCCF has taken of me or in which I may be included, for all purposes, in any and all media including the Internet, without limitation, including promotion, solicitation, advertising or trade.I am fully aware that my likeness may appear in materials available to interns, board members, or staff of RMCCF, and individuals outside of the RMCCF community. I further grant RMCCF the irrevocable and unrestricted right and permission to copy/reproduce and distribute my Likeness by means of various media, including, but not limited to video presentations, simultaneous television broadcast/rebroadcast, radio transmission/retransmission, news releases, mail-outs, emails, billboards, signs, brochures, placement on websites and/or other electronic/digital delivery, social media, publication, display, or promotions on any and all other media, and I further understand that My Likeness may be subject to reasonable modification or editing. I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished images or other content, including advertising copy or printed matter, in which they may be used.Your consent response will not be used in the Scholarship Committee process.

Disclaimers: Scholarship grantees may be asked to provide RMCCF with receipt or proof of funds spent as well as proof of enrollment.

Scholarship advisory committee members must be able to make independent decisions on behalf of the scholarship fund and the Riverside Medical Clinic Charitable Foundation without potential or perceived influence caused by a conflict of interest.

They must evaluate the eligibility of all applicants without bias and make selection recommendations based on the established objective criteria for the scholarship. Advisory committee members should avoid any situation where personal and business relationships could have, or give the appearance of having, undue influence on the member’s judgment in matters under consideration. In case of a potential conflict of interest, the member shall declare the conflict, and refrain from participating in the discussions and decision-making process.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST STATEMENT

A potential or actual conflict of interest exists when commitments and obligations are likely to be compromised by the employee or board member’s material interests or relationships (especially economic), particularly if those interests or commitments are not disclosed. As such, no RMCCF employee or board member (or familial relation of either) may apply for scholarship funds. If found to be applying for funds, said application will be withdrawn from consideration. These restrictions do not apply to Riverside Medical Clinic (RMC) employees unless the said employee is a relative of an RMCCF employee or board member.
