Guest Presenter: Teresa Dinh Watanabe, Sr. Executive Director at The Arthritis Foundation
Teresa’s Bio:
Teresa Dinh Watanabe is a leader in fighting for the community. As the Senior Executive Director at the Arthritis Foundation she helps conquer everyday battles through life-changing hanging information and resources, access to optimal care, advancements in science, and community connections.
Under Teresa’s leadership, the Arthritis Foundation Orange County and Inland Empire have received three awards, recognized for outstanding leadership in areas of Fund Development, Mission, and Public Policy. In addition, Teresa won an Awareness Achievement Award for her outstanding professional achievements. Teresa oversees the fundraising and programs in Southern California and Hawaii.
Teresa’s career began soon after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Management and Information Systems from California State University Fullerton. From 2003 to 2011, Teresa served as a Development Director at Boys Town overseeing development and fundraising for children and families suffering from abuse, addiction, abandonment, or violence. Teresa spearheaded and completed a capital campaign to build a shelter in East Rancho Dominguez and opened two sibling baby homes in Trabuco Canyon for abused children.
