About the Anti-Bullying Institute

In 2012, the Foundation hosted its first anti-bullying lecture, which drew a record crowd of nearly 500 people. This prompted the creation of the Anti-Bullying Institute after witnessing first-hand the sheer number of attendees who were thirsting for information, resources, and answers; hearing parents share their powerful and often emotional stories of feeling helpless for their children; and realizing students were desperately in need of help, but did not know where to turn.

In 2014 and 2016, the Anti-Bullying Conference gathered school administrators, educators, law enforcement officials, psychologists, youth organization leaders, community representatives, parents and others from around California and beyond who were committed to addressing the bullying epidemic.

The Anti-Bullying Institute offers hands-on programs which are designed to empower children, parents, schools and youth organizations to effectively deal with the issue of bullying. Utilizing the latest research and evidence-based strategies, the Anti-Bullying Institute offers personalized educational courses for parents or guardians who have children who are being bullied or are the bullies.

Parent classes are offered throughout Inland Southern California in English and Spanish for parents and guardians of children who are struggling with bullying. Participants will receive valuable information on bullying and learn how to effectively address these issues. We provide strategies to combat bullying and offer resources to parents and children when needed. These classes are provided free of charge and can be booked online.

New HERO Program - An all-inclusive, anti-bullying program provided to participating schools. This program includes student, staff and parent education throughout the school year, along with recognition of exceptional students who go above and beyond to be a HERO. Ongoing support and resources will be provided to combat and reduce bullying in schools and in our communities. This program is provided free of charge. Applications are available online.
